Red Hair On Top And Blonde Underneath

I had always wanted to try out a two-tone hair color. I had seen it done a few times before and it always looked really cool and edgy. I was torn between going for a red on top and blonde underneath look or a blonde on top and red underneath look.

I decided to go for the former. I went to my usual hair salon and told the stylist what I wanted. She took one look at my hair and said that it would be a bit tricky to achieve the look that I wanted, but she was up for the challenge.

We got to work and a few hours later, I had the most amazing two-tone hair color that I had ever seen.

-How do you achieve this look

Red hair is often associated with fiery personalities, while blonde is seen as more fun-loving and carefree. So what happens when you mix the two together? Interestingly, red hair and blonde hair are actually two of the most genetically diverse hair colors.

In fact, red hair is caused by a mutation in the MC1R gene, while blonde hair is the result of a different mutation in the same gene. So what happens when you combine these two different mutations? Well, you get a redhead with blonde underneath!

This unique hair color combination is actually quite rare. And it’s not just the hair color that’s different, but the texture as well. The top layer of hair is usually coarse and wavy, while the underneath layer is soft and straight.

If you’re thinking about trying this hair color combination, be prepared to put in some extra time and effort to maintain it.

Conclusion

This person has red hair on top and blonde underneath. It’s a unique look that not many people have.
